Cranking Up the Whoofoo Propaganda Machine

April 3rd, 2007

Does the US Forest Service want to burn down America’s forests? You bet they do. Proof is their new forest management ad campaign: “Black Is Beautiful.”

No, they are not talking about human skin color or human racial pride. They are talking about forests, not human beings. In the new context, Black Is Beautiful refers to currently green forests the USFS wishes to incinerate into blackness.

Here’s an example of the new propaganda line that appeared last month (here) in the Clark Fork Chronicle. Clark Fork, by the way, is snug up against this year’s planned mega-whoofoo, the Northern Rocky Mountains.

A Black Landscape is a Beautiful Landscape: A Few Days on a Fire Use Fire

… At the heart of most resistance to fire use are basic social value structures. Fire has been considered an enemy to be fought for 400 years in this country. Values tend to change slowly. If a community has had no positive experience with fire use or prescribed fire, it may take a brush with wildfire to change their minds. Worse yet, they may have had bad experiences with escaped prescribed fires, or grown distrustful of fire managers due escaped burnout or backfiring operations. Most people simply don’t like the black, charred appearance of the landscape.

To these folks, I would like to pitch a “Black is Beautiful” campaign.

… Fire use allows natural ecosystem functions to run their course with minimal interference. “Black” has made this beautiful landscape we have come to love.

This kind of anti-forest holocauster tripe reminds us of the words of Cascadia Summer Rising in Revolutionary Action Against America! (or whatever their name was) that we reported a year ago, in a post we entitled The Arsonist Agenda (see here):

The forest looked amazingly beautiful… stark contrast to the lush green forests we were used to seeing along Fall Creek, but beautiful nonetheless. Ferns had already begun sprouting back up through the ash. Scorched Doug Firs and cedars sparkled in the sunlight.

Holocauster propaganda that was once the sole purview of radical nutball arsonists, the kind that are presently doing hard time in Federal penitentiaries, is now the main message coming from the USFS Washington Office. Big International Non-Governmental Organizations (BINGO’s), notably The Nature Conservancy, have been hired to promote “Blacken, Burned, Deforested, Former Forests Are Beautiful.”

The Wildland Fire Leadership Council (WFLC) is the Federal team that writes and implements the National Fire Plan. Members include USFS Chief Gail Kimbell and USDA Undersecretary Mark Rey. From the WFLC meeting notes of February 22, 2007 (see here):

DECISION: Lead agencies will continue to convene teams to complete tasks not only in 2007 but longer term as well. TNC and other NGOs will assist with communication plan for wildland fire use as part of TYIP Goal 3, Task 2.

TYIP is the Ten Year Implementation Plan for the National Fire Plan. The TYIP includes burning America’s forests to the ground in deliberate holocausts. To promote this agenda, BINGO’s have been hired.

However, this “partnership” has a slight problem. It’s illegal. It violates the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Public Law 92-463, 5 U.S.C., App). FACA (see here) was enacted by Congress:

… to ensure that advice rendered to the executive branch by the various advisory committees, task forces, boards, and commissions formed over the years by Congress and the president, be both objective and accessible to the public. The Act not only formalized a process for establishing, operating, overseeing, and terminating these advisory bodies, but also created the Committee Management Secretariat (MCC), an organization whose task it is to monitor and report executive branch compliance with the Act.

However, the WFLC doesn’t want the public to have open, objective access to their deliberations. So they are trying to circumvent FACA. More from the WFLC Feb. 22 meeting notes:

Revise MOU language for NGO participation consistent with WFLC goals. WFLC should not become a Federal Advisory Committee. Consider addition of a fire chief’s representative as WFLC member, in a manner consistent with FACA. Confer with legal counsel. Draft business rules for review.

The BINGO’s are sitting in on WFLC meetings and undertaking their contracted “communication plans for wildland fire use,” i.e. whoofoo propaganda, such as the Blackened, Charred, Dead Forests Are Beautiful campaign. As such, both the BINGO’s and the bureaucrats are breaking Federal Law. They are criminals. They are also violating RICO, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

Your tax dollars are illegally going to BINGO’s to propagandize you that green forests are ugly, but when the government burns them down, they will be beautiful.

This is so insane, so objectionable, so foul, sick, hateful, and destructive, that it defies adjectivity; we don’t know what adjectives to use.

We will post more on this issue when we find the right words.

Buncha nazi wacko criminal arsonist holocauster creepazoid commie terrorist fruitcake spittoons …
