General Holocaust, Part 4: A Thousand Words

December 9th, 2006

There is only one photograph in the Audit, as we refer to the Report on Large Fire Suppression Costs, by Robert W. Young, Asst. Inspector General, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, Western Region, Report No. 08601-44-SF, November 2006. We couldn’t extract it, but that photo is on Page 6, and the caption reads:

Figure 1 — FS protecting a WUI home from wildfire. (FS photo)

The photo shows a massive forest fire bearing down on a ranch-style home. The fire appears to have a flaming front at least a mile wide. The home looks doomed.

The photo is grainy and pixilated, but one thing is very clear. There are no firetrucks in it. There are no firefighters, no yellow Nomex shirts, no government vehicles, no hose lays, no pumpers, no sign of any FS presence at all. In other words, the caption is a joke.

The USFS is NOT protecting this Whooie home. The fire looks like it is on Federal ground, about to jump the line and start destroying private property. The FS is nowhere near the scene, as the FS firefighters all went home to bed where it is safe for them.

The caption is satire, or a sneer, or a premonition of things to come, which will be no different than things past, except worse. The USFS does not protect Whooie homes, it threatens and endangers them.

According to the Audit, now accepted by the Chief as Official Policy, in the future the USFS is going to do even less to protect private property from USFS conflagrations (as if less were possible).

Note that the ranch-style home in the photo appears to be rather dated, at least 50 years old. It is not a McMansion built by rich Baby Boomers from California in the last couple of years. If it was, it would be okay for the Government to burn it down, out of spite, jealousy, and Class Envy, which are American Ideals highly valued by the Government and its functionaries.

Everybody hates Baby Boomers with McMansions, or should hate them, because they are so hateful. We hate them, and we encourage our children to hate them. We wish the Baby Boomers would just curl up and die, but what are you going to do?

At any rate, the house in the photo is not one of those, and may even predate the US Forest Service, which is hell-bent on burning it down anyway. It looks like a working ranch, with live cows, probably to be turned into meat to eat. This is another Politically Correct reason to burn out the pusillanimous and sub-human scum that live there.

The Ranch pasture is probably a former prairie maintained by anthropogenic fire for millennia. The Ranch is probably an ancient habitation place for human beings, which we amusingly refer to as a Home, and the FS amusingly wants to destroy.

It is all so amusing. The FS protecting WUI homes! It’s just gotta make you laugh, or cry, or both at the same time. Unless you live in the Whooie. Then it is not so funny.
